For 3 generations the Gillman family has farmed, trying to raise the best feed possible so that we could raise the best cattle possible. In 2016 we were given the opportunity to feed yearling bulls for a few seed stock producers. As the Gillman's have always done, our family did our best to raise them as we would our own. By carefully watching their health, keeping them in clean dry pens, weighing them often, and walking through them daily. We fed them good forage feed with just enough grain to allow them to achieve their best frame growth, then removed all grain and finishing the bulls in a way that allows them to be ready to go to work come sale day. Since 2016 we have stayed with the philosophy of raising cattle as if they are our own, and we have grown to feeding bulls for over 20 different producers.
